A warm welcome to Kennemerduinen Psychologie, the outdoor psychology practice of Femke van Manen, a licensed GZ-psychologist.

 

Most sessions take place outdoors, walking in the Kennemerduinen. Working outside helps people relax more easily, experience a greater sense of space, and gain insight into their situation more quickly.

 

Scientific research shows that contact with nature reduces stress, improves concentration, and strengthens the collaboration between therapist and client. Being physically active helps the brain create new “pathways” more quickly. This makes it possible to work toward your goals in a direct and practical way, with the environment providing natural support for the process.
